Traditional Line

Almost Heaven Saunas has been building easy-to-assemble sauna kits in the Finnish tradition for nearly 40 years, and have been doing it out of a mountain-based factory in Renick, West Virginia, the entire time. Now they are one of the few sauna manufacturers based in the United States. They took what started out as a good idea and expanded on it until it became something great, becoming one of the oldest and most respected sauna manufacturers in the world today. The craftsmen are well-trained, and they understand the characteristics of lumber. They’re the ones who see to every detail that goes into making a sauna room that will endure.

Beautiful western cedar, hand-crafted construction and a stainless steel heater combine to make the traditional barrel saunas one of the most popular traditional sauna models. Available in a variety of lengths, there is a barrel sauna for as few as 2 or as many as 8 people. Also, as an indoor or outdoor sauna, our traditional saunas are ideal for the backyard or garden environment and can withstand extreme temperatures and weather.

Additionally, western cedar has a very sweet aroma which is enhanced with the heat and hot steam.  Craftsman hand select each piece of cedar for optimal use in the construction of the sauna and reject those boards which do not meet our high standards. You will appreciate the craftsmanship and quality materials each and every time, whether you decide on an indoor or outdoor sauna.
